From a young child, Crissy enjoyed gospel and jazz music. After several years of singing in the choir at her grandfather's church, her grandfather, Henry W. Sauls started asking her to sing solos. She wasn't always willing to sing solos but she had too! He would call her to sing at any given moment.
Her desire to sing and help out in the local churches grew as she became a teenager into her young adult life. She realized that she didn't have a big voice but she had a voice!
She started writing songs in her late teens. In her 30's, she wrote more songs. She has continued to help out in music departments whether it was a concert bringing major recording artists, preparing music for conferences, convocations and other special services.
In 2020, Crissy attended NAMM 2020 (National Association of Music Merchandisers). At the Hammond Organ booth, she attracted gospel singers as musicians played popular gospel songs in the brand-new Hammond organs! Crissy sang and played at the Hammond booth on the last day of the conference.
Also in 2020, she recorded her first Single, "This Season" and remains inspired to finish recording and publishing new music! Inspired by hearing other great gospel artists, Crissy will continue to sing, record and build a network of great artists that love and enjoy sharing in their musical gifts and talents.
